About Dendrology

Dendrology is the science of tree and plant identification. It is also the study of tree architecture and their use in various applications. In addition, dendrology is the practice of caring for trees and shrubs.

There are many different topics within dendrology, including the study of how trees grow, how they reproduce and how their characteristics affect the environment. For example, it's possible to determine which trees are best suited for a particular climate by looking at their growth patterns. Similarly, it's possible to see why certain trees have been used as building materials throughout history by examining their shape and size.

For all types of dendrology (tree identification), there are several tools that can be used to examine a tree's characteristics. These include binoculars, microscopes and tape measures. In addition, the process of identifying a tree can be aided by consulting reference books or online databases

While dendrology is a popular hobby among some people, it's not necessary to know much about trees in order to care for them properly. In fact, anyone who wants to do this can find plenty of helpful information on the Internet.
